Christmas offers us a new opportunity to live intentionally and generously. From the beginning (39 years ago), the people of Granger Community Church have given above and beyond their normal gifts towards a special Christmas Offering to celebrate Jesus’ birth and gift of love to all of us.
THIS YEAR YOUR GIFTS TO JESUS PROVIDE FOR:
FOOD DROP
With rising food prices and so many people facing food insecurity, the support we can offer to help meet basic needs during the winter season is crucial. That’s why for the last 23 years we’ve been feeding hungry people in Michiana through the Food Drop. Through your gifts in 2026, our plan is to provide enough food to support over 6,400 families in nine cities across our region. Don’t miss the fun on Saturday, January 24 at 9 a.m. at your campus.
SCHOLARSHIPS
We know that experiences like camps, retreats and engaging events can create big impact as people take their next steps. Can you believe that 1,117 kids and students attended a camp through Granger Community Church this past year? And 80 of those made first-time commitments to follow Jesus while at camp. We are so grateful that 407 kids and students received scholarships to attend camp this past year. Your gifts will be an investment that can impact families for generations. Did you know that $225 is enough to send a kid to a week of Day Camp or that $615 sends a middle schooler to an amazing week of overnight camp? A high schooler can be part of a transformational week of camp for $375. Your gifts also provide financial support for more adults to experience retreats and events.
MISSIONS
Through the Monroe Circle Community Center (MC3), our current community center in downtown South Bend, we will continue to offer Jesus’ love in tangible ways through food support. Your generosity has allowed us to serve over 3,600 families (just over 10,000 individuals) through the food pantry there this year! And in 2026, we’ll provide continued support to Sleep in Heavenly Peace, an organization that builds beds for kids in Michiana who don’t have one. This year, we’re committing to help build and distribute 350 beds to kids across our community. In India, we will continue to train and equip hundreds of church planters who are connecting people with God’s love and hope.
GET READY!
We’re so excited for all God will do in 2026 as we prepare the grounds and existing buildings at the site of the Next Steps Community Center we’re developing in Mishawaka. As we transition our community center efforts from Monroe Circle to this new location, there will be property clean-up and demolition to prepare for upcoming renovations. Your gifts will go towards the much-needed prep work and cleanup that will get this property ready for the building phase.
