Playground
Ready, set, play! Did you know the refreshed and redesigned playground at the Granger Campus is open? With its innovative play structures that allow room to add more in the future, and a space designed to increase creativity in play, the playground is a beautiful space for kids aged 2-12 to get down to the business of childhood: play! The playground is open and available to use from dawn to dusk daily. Adult or guardian supervision is recommended.
Native Prairie
The Granger Campus’s east side features a beautiful stretch of intentionally nurtured Native Prairie. The prairie was started in 2018 and has been specifically cultivated to produce a wide variety of plants and flowers native to Indiana, to provide both shelter and habitat for local wildlife, birds and pollinators. Come sit and pray, or stroll and marvel at the prairie when it’s in full bloom (late June through early October).
Disc Golf
If disc golf is your sport, there’s a course available for play at the Granger Campus. Details about the course, including layouts for 9 and 18-hole options, are available on UDisc. Bring your discs and a friend or two and follow the signs to move from hole to hole.
Bird Sanctuary
The bird sanctuary is nestled among some old-growth trees on the West side of the Granger Campus. With paths to walk on and benches for seating, you can spend time enjoying watching and listening to the birds. You may see the occasional squirrel, chipmunk, goose or even deer watching you back!
Trails
Explore the many trails and walkable paths on our 50+ acre campus, including scenic routes around the pond and through our beautiful native prairie. Whether you’re taking a peaceful stroll or seeking a more adventurous path, there’s plenty of nature to enjoy. The prairie path is available on the AllTrails app, or feel free to blaze your own trail and discover new spots along the way!
Elkhart Campus
There are inviting outdoor spaces at our Elkhart Campus as well, including a Prayer Garden and picnic area on the south side of the building.
