Educator Love Week

WHAT:

We want to value and celebrate all the educators and school staff right here in Michiana. They work so hard to care for and serve our students; what an honor to pray for and serve them! From August 22-26, follow along by engaging in these prayer prompts and daily challenges. Tag @grangerchurch and use #educatorloveweek to share some of the ways you’re participating. - Monday, August 22 | Prayer Prompt: Pray for peace and confidence in the hearts of every teacher and administrator as they’re welcoming students back. Daily Challenge: Take 90 seconds this morning to pray for a teacher in your life.

- Tuesday, August 23 | Prayer Prompt: Pray for God’s outpouring of creativity and innovation for our local teachers and administrators. Daily Challenge: Send a message of gratitude to a teacher that impacted you.

- Wednesday, August 24 | Prayer Prompt: Pray for endurance, strength and wisdom. Daily Challenge: Invite a teacher friend to get a free coffee or buy them a cup of coffee on your own. FREE COFFEE for teachers and school faculty today at participating Purely Pressed Juice locations in Granger (6-8 a.m.) and South Bend (6:30-8 a.m.). Bring your school ID in and get a free coffee on us!

- Thursday, August 25 | Prayer Prompt: Pray for our teachers’ own families and their health and home life, that they would feel supported and loved. Daily Challenge: Write and send a note of encouragement to a local school or educator.

- Friday, August 26 | Prayer Prompt: Pray that our teachers would not grow weary in doing good, and that they would be encouraged in knowing that all the seeds they’re planting in the next generation will grow and bear fruit. Daily Challenge: Do an act of kindness for a teacher in your life: buy them coffee, bring them a treat, etc.
