WHAT:We want to be known by what we’re for, not what we’re against. This special edition of #4Michiana will be focused on building of new beds for kids in Michiana who are currently sleeping without a bed of their own. With 1,000+ children in the Michiana area on a waiting list, Granger Community Church, in partnership with Sleep in Heavenly Peace (SHP), is setting out to change that statistic.
You can register and show up to volunteer and be trained in making the special, hand-constructed beds that Sleep in Heavenly Peace is known for.
Special Donation Opportunity: We will be collecting donations of new comforters, sheet sets (flat sheet, fitted sheet and pillowcase) and mattress protectors that will accompany each bed given. Donations need to be new and twin size (Twin/Twin XL comforters are fine). You can purchase the items from the Amazon Wishlist and have them sent directly to the Granger Campus.
