How did you first come to GCC? Why did you stay?
My husband, Phil, and I were looking for a church where we could grow together as newly-weds and invest our gifts in ministry. We’ve stayed at GCC because we love the powerful worship, insightful teaching, and high energy of the staff and congregation.
Favorite flavor of ice cream?
I love ice cream. I can’t pick just one favorite, so I’d say either Mint Chocolate Chip or Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough.
Favorite season? Why?
Fall because the leaves change color, it’s football season and sweater weather, bonfires are pleasant, coffee is enjoyable hot or iced, and rhythms return as school starts again.
What’s one of your proudest moments?
I studied abroad at the University of Oxford in college. The moment I submitted my final paper of the semester brought a great sense of joy because I knew I had done my best and I knew that God had taught me so much in that season. It was such a gift!
Your greatest indulgence?
Iced coffee. I probably spend too much money on it and consume more than I should, but I absolutely love it and it boosts my mood and productivity.
What inspires you?
Humble excellence, gritty endurance, and radical compassion. I’m also a sucker for stories of redemption and reconciliation.
What is your role at GCC?
Spiritual Growth and Development Coordinator
