IT MIGHT GET LOUD

You might have a certain picture in your mind of what worship means. Is it singing at the top of your lungs to music about God that moves you? People raising their hands in the air or using all the right lofty words at the right time? How do we even know if we’re doing it right? Is God actually listening?

Worship is the offering of our very best and most real selves to God. Sometimes that does look like singing our hearts out or having a connected conversation with Him. Sometimes it looks like a quiet walk through nature—just us and God. Sometimes it looks like a parent getting up in the night with a sick child or folding the umpteenth load of laundry. Sometimes it looks like being interruptible, being present with someone who needs us in the moment. Sometimes it looks like creating a piece of art or writing, or capturing a fleeting moment in a photograph. At the end of the day, worship is our ongoing relationship of reliance on God in all the everyday details of our lives.

Join us for five weeks this July, as we explore the colorful, varied facets of worship and the ways we can each offer our very best to God. (Warning: It MIGHT get loud!)
