Taking the love of Jesus Christ outside of the walls of our church building is nothing new to our volunteers. If you love helping people throughout the community, Granger Community Church offers multiple opportunities to share that love by assisting at-risk men, women and children in a number of offsite locations.
IF YOU ENJOY:
- Attending random serving opportunities
- Construction projects
- Serving under-resourced families
- Working with the Prison Re-entry Program
- Mentoring kids
- Serving at local community centers
Every once and a while we mobilize a large group of people in order to do a lot in a short amount of time. These random serving events are called #4Michiana and yes, we encourage you to use that hashtag every time you post something about these events on social media. Look for the next available opportunity on the Events Page.
Construction Team (Carpenter’s Hands)
We get involved in a wide variety of design and construction projects: set design builds, construction maintenance projects, small and large renovation projects, new projects including Habitat builds and other missional-related construction projects.
Every week we help those in the prison system with addiction recovery and provide support for transition back into society, while offering the hope and power of Jesus Christ. In addition, church services are provided at the local Re-Entry Center.
Center For the Homeless Team
The Center for the Homeless focuses on providing not just life saving, but life changing services to the hurting and homeless in our area. There are multiple opportunities including meals, Christmas and Easter parties for the children at the center, holiday decorating, outside upkeep and more.
Son City Kids & Students (South Bend & Elkhart)
This ministry serves at‐risk children through high energy and creative programming all designed to mentor, coach and teach the kids how much they matter to God.
Monroe Circle Community Center
Monroe Circle Community Center (MC3), is a local outreach ministry of Granger Community Church, and was completely remodeled to assist at‐risk men, women and children in our own community.
