Granger Middle School
Series: Gratitude & Generosity
Each year we set aside one special day to focus on the things we are thankful for. But even for those short 24 hours, we often focus on turkey, stuffing and football instead of gratitude. If we can’t keep a thankful attitude for a single day, how will we ever remember that thankfulness matters all year round? What would it look like to live a thankful lifestyle every day? What if we could actually take that gratitude and turn it into generosity?

The Middle School Weekly Gathering is a can’t-miss experience that takes place on Sunday afternoons during the school year. Although Granger Student Ministries is more than what happens during a service on a Sunday, it’s still a big part of it. Here is a little bit of what we do:
- We have FUN: We believe that following Jesus is the greatest adventure you will ever take. It only makes sense that church should be just as fun! We laugh together, we play games together, and we discover the adventure of following Jesus together.
- We WORSHIP: Our band is phenomenal and filled with students who lead and help us connect with God. We sing, we dance, and we celebrate the God who invites us to play a part in His story.
- We LEARN: Each week we look to the Bible through teaching and conversation to learn more about who God is, what He has done, who that says we are, and what we should then do.
- We GROUP UP: We aren’t designed to do this alone. We know that we are better together and the relationships we surround ourselves with have the power to transform our lives. That is why every middle school student is put in a small group of five–eight other students with two caring high school and/or adult leaders to take their next steps toward Christ together.
And all of this is to help us take our next steps toward Christ together.
